'Access is Denied' Message for Datasource in e-Work System Administrator

The information in this article applies to product:
e-Work 6.x Issue When an e-Work engine is registered in the System Administrator, the 'Datasource' column displays the message 'Access is Denied'. Resolution The user that is using the System Administrator, i.e. the user logged on to the computer, needs to have the following rights. Access to the EngineManager through DCOM. Run DCOMCNFG. Go to Applications > ework EngineManager > Properties > Security. Verify that the user has Access Permission for the application. Access to e-work.EngineManager.1 in COM+. Go to Component Services and expand Metastorm e-work Engine under COM+ Applications. Right click on e-work.EngineManager.1 and go to Properties > Security. Note the role(s) checked. Go to the Roles directory and verify that the logged on user holds a checked role. It may be necessary to restart the Engine for the datasource to be displayed.
