The bugs that have prevented us from recommending upgrading to 7.6 have now been fixed so I am thinking about suggesting the upgrade to our clients. If you're using 7.6, could you let me know if you have found any problems with it?

We just prepare. Despite this, thanks for the information.

I have been using it for some time. We were using the PO for .NET extensively in order to move the code for action and forms to C#. It worked real well. The only issue we found was that randomly we would get errors in the designer Log that the call to the C# DLL failed, and there was no reason behind it. The eDetails in the eLog Table was blank. It would not happen every time, just randomly and more often under load.
I tried and creating sample procedure for days trying to reproduce it in a Lab for Metastorm but was unable to do so.
The advantages of the PO for .NET gave us huge speed improvements over the VBcript we were using, so it was worth the random errors.
The Procedure we were running was real complex and we had over 110,000 users in the eUser Table. I am sure we had something that was aggravating the random errors, but I never did figure out what in my lab.

110000 users? You must get a discount :) OT:No problems here with 7.6 (that i know of)

PS that's for V6/7 for V9 the problem is V9 at the moment ;)

Good thread. We're still using 7.5 just because we're relatively stable with all the hotfixes and plus we've done so much customization that upgrading is a bit daunting.

We are using 7.5 SR1 and probably will try a move to 9 when it out rather than moving to 7.6 as we expect there to be greater advantages. Whether we have to go through 7.6 is another matter (I prefer not to have to keep patching systems if possible so tend to wait for Service Releases). If I have the time I will try a test rig for 9 and see how well it upgrades from 7.5 SR1. Thanks, Lee.

Q4 this year I believe. To answer my own initial question, we've been running 7.6 without problems for a while now.

We have been live on 7.6 SR 1 since about January '09. The only new "feature" we've seen thus far is that if your To Do / Watch list scrolls and you open/action a folder in the "scrolled down" section, instead of staying on that line the list jumps up. (Metastorm indicated they'd address in the next release of 7.6.) At the conference, they were indicating v9 should be out in 4Q09.

BMellert/All This is in regards to BMellert's scrolling post above - Is the issue of To Do/Watch lists scrolling (jumping) up fixed? We are on Install Build - 7.6.3.4 Web Build - 7.6.3.1618 and still have the issue in both IE7 and 8. I have been working with Matastorm Help Desk and so far it is still not resolved. Any ideas much appreciated.

As for ourselves, we never upgraded past v7.6.1.6; v7.6.2 had something that prevented up from upgrading (something minor but don't recall what) and we haven't taken the time to upgrade with the other hot fixes. We still have the scroll issue I described in our current release, though it was supposedly fixed in v7.6.2 if I recall the release notes. We are in the early stages of migrating / rewriting for v9. I haven't created a large enough To Do list to verify 100%, but it seems OK there.
