Hi All

I need to retrieve a date value from an Oracle stored proc using a serverside script. I can open a connection and pass in the in parameters and out parameters but not sure how to retreive the output to a DateTime variable as I cant seem to declare a DateTime variable!

Thanks
Jas

AFAIK procedure output parameters are not supported in Metastorm, but you can SELECT values from procedure call.
CREATE PROCEDURE GetDbDate

AS
SELECT GETDATE()
RETURN

ProcessData.DbDate = SelectSql(null, "EXEC GetDbDate").DateTime;

I didn't test it, but I use similar code for INT return from stored procedure on MS SQL Server. Maybe some explicit conversion will be required.
You can also select whole recordset in SP and then pass it to Metastorm with GetDataTable() and then iterate by foreach. I can send you an example too, if you wish.
