Hi,

We have two different solutions in Metastorm.
For each project there is Role name Customer, Who is the person who created new folder.

Both the roles have common set of users.
So everytime while adding new user, we need to add that user in both the Roles.

Can we have Common role only a single one "Customer" that can be accessed and used in both the Projects?

Thanks in Advance..!

Yes, just put it in a library shared by both projects. A static role is not solution specific.

Are the roles exactly the same spelling including case? If so, there should only be one role in the system to assign to.

Thanks Jerome,

What if the Roles are dynamic. "AssignedTeamMember" is one dynamic role in ProcessA as ProcessA.varTxtTM formula. So its scope is ProcessA
ProcessA creates new folder of ProcessB as child folder.
Same role is to be Used in ProcessB. So we will need another Role "AssignedTeamMember" for ProcessB as ProcessB.passedflaggedDataTM formula.

We cannot use a Single Dynamic role for both the process.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Then you need the role in each process. Dynamic roles only work with directly Process data. There are ways to create a common role, but it is too awkward and does not really add any benefit (to my mind).
