I have some very odd thing happening with date fields. In the attached example, I get the dates from the grid copied to local vars on a row selection. The dates always come in as one day before the date in the grid.

In another procedure, the same happens, but also, when I refresh the form using another button, and it is only doing a select SQL that is not relevant to the Local variables in question, both date fields lose a day!

It seems that date fields can lose a day, and always do when assigned from a grid, but can do at other times too. Anyone else noticed this or anything like this?

OK, when you select from a grid, and perhaps at other times (testing is ongoing) the time comes back as 14:00 the previous day. You can see this if you set the fields to date and time.

The setting of the 'disable time zone adjustment' property is not relevant.

It is coming in 10 hours before.

Given that we are GMT + 10, I suspect that is the time zone adjustment.

So it works fine, people, as long as you stay at GMT. Good job Wimbledon is at GMT (or was until just recently.....)!

Actually, Wimbledon isn't on GMT now ... we're on BST (British Summer Time), so us Brits are knackered as well.

I've had exactly the same issue. The only workaround I've found that seems to work consistently is to disable automatic adjust clock for daylight saving time on the client (doing the same on the server has no effect).

Well, it will only work if you happen to be on GMT (excluding DST), however, so that is still at least 95% of the world with a problem!

'tis why I added 'until just recently' ;-)

Jerome did you ever find a fix for this? I seem to be experiencing this issue in 9.3.1.2

Thanks

Rich

I am pretty certain this was fixed sometime in 9.3.0.1. We have not moved on from this as no fixes are needed by us, and the results of the 'testing' of later versions (ie giving it to customers) are not encouraging.

I must admit that my attention is far from Metastorm BPM these days, however. Given its imminent demise, we are following other options.
