Hello,I develop workflows on my machine connect ed to a server that hosts the engine process, on this server I can't install Visual Studio. When I try to launch the debugger, Visual studio open but does nothing and the designer display the following error : "The Engine process was not found, please ensure that the Engine is running on this machine and that you have appropriate permissions to access it." The Metastorm Process Engine is running on the server and my user is tagged as administrator. Does it mean that I have to install the engine on my machine or Visual Studio on the server ?

Hi Jerome, I have a similar issue in that I develop on my local PC and deploy to a server. I do have the Process Engine on my PC but like TNT I can't install Visual Studio on the server. I used to be able to deploy locally and test locally but 1. running locally just stopped working one day and I could never get it to work again, even after a full re-install and 2. I could never get the Visual Studio debugging working anyway, even with everything local. Surely all my process engine really needs to know is where the Workflow database is so it can load the maps etc. True? And if so, how do I reconfigure my local Process Engine to use the server database?
