Hi All

I have an editable grid which has a couple of dropdown columns. I need to make the filter on one column dependant on the option selected in the other. Is this possible?

I have tried to use getCell to get the value selected in one dropdown and then write this to a text field with a local variable. Then in the SQL of the list options on the other dropdown I have used WHERE (MyField = '" + Local.myVar + "')"

However this does not appear to work. The list is not filtering based on the chosen option. Do I need to force the form to refresh?

Thanks
Jas

Others will correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know grid options / drop down cannot be dynamic.  I believe the options are pre-populated when the grid is initialized and that's why, in part anyway, they cannot be dynamic.

'Tis true. Has always been the case, I'm afraid.

Was hoping this might have changed in v9.1. Doesn't look like it :-(
