Hi All,

Metastorm version: 9.1.2.2
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2

Is there a way to dynamically hide and show specific grid columns based on a value that will be generated on form load?

I have this grid in my solution that has 5 columns which was initially coded. For the new requirement we have, we only need to show 3 columns base on a config table value that will be presumably generated on form load. For example if the value is "0" then show the 5 columns but if its "1" then just show the 3 columns.

Base on the above requirement we would like to know if there is a way to workaround this without creating a new grid and controlling its visibility base on the values specified above.

Any comments or suggestions are highly appreciated.

Regards,
John

I'd be interested if this is possible, but I do not think so.  The only approach I have been able to get to work using the native grids is to have multiple grids.  Others may been successful in this parsing the DevExpress grid control, but that wouldn't be a supported work around if it does work.

Thanks for the insight. I guess we will be sticking with the 2 grids as suggested. Cheers.
