I have an editable Folder Grid

Most of the time everything works perfectly, but sometimes when roll the cursor over a row (cursor changes to an "I") and I click the folder grid (and the folder opens), I then cannot select the first 10 entries on the grid (through internet explorer). When the cursor goes over text in the 11th row or below, the cursor changes to a vertical "I"; these rows are select-able. When the cursor goes over text in the FIRST 10 rows, it remains an arrow; these rows are NOT select-able.

In trying to debug, I added a second grid of type 'Field has Dependents'. When I select any row from the 'Field has Dependents' grid, I am then able to select any row from the Folder Grid unlimited times with everything working.

It actually seems like now I am consistently able to reproduce this issue. Any advice?

I was not even aware that you could open a folder from an editable grid. Are you sure this is true and you have your terms right?

You are correct, my terms are not correct: I meant a Folder Grid and a 'Field has Dependents' grid. Thank you for your reply! I have found something since the post... it seems that when I type localhost into my browser I do NOT get an address bar in the form window, and the grid works...

When I type in my external website address, i do get an address bar in the form window and the grid does not work.

So click Folder grid row to bring up folder, then i can no longer select first 10 rows or so

No, sorry, I have never seen that one.

I suspect a security setting in IE. Have you added the system server address to the 'Intranet' or 'safe sites' list in the security settings?

I agree, I have added it to Trusted Sites but nothing changed, I believe it is iis/ie8 related. Thank you so much for looking!

I deleted the second grid, and the first one started working, the two grids are in the same location: and are both hidden with some custom javascript and with the metastorm's "visibility depends on."  Even with the second grid set to don't show, this error still shows up. At least it is a step in the right direction. Now, how to make 2 grids in the same place without screwing up the first one lol. Thanks again for your help!
