What on earth does the "Help url" on stages/actions do? Where's it supposed to show on the client ?

I dont see anything that indicates a "help" icon/ "?" icon like one article suggested - is this a web config maybe ?

If you add a URL, it will show an icon on the form. It can be at a stage or an action, see the attached examples from our Release Management system, available here:

We do not use these much at all, although we used to have a complete system to churn out the HTML from text (and we may update this if there is a perceived need). The main problem I have is that we do not often need help for a stage or an action, but we need it for a form. This is what users generally care about, not the process itself. The other problem is that it is entirely separate from the Designer, which makes it cumbersome and difficult to maintain.

Our own solution is to use the Client Extensions field on forms, which we have discovered is deployed with the form definition. We can extract this at run time and build HTML from it. It makes it a great deal easier to build and maintain comprehensive help.

Ah i see it now...thats such a strange way to specify "help" lol. Thanks Jerome.

I was expecting the help "?" to appear on the form itself, not an isolated icon on the bottom (last place where anyone looks for help).

Thanks for the code example - really cool way of doing it !
