I'd like to hide a textbox field when a certain element is selected in a drop down control.  I'd like to do this in the "When Changed" method of the drop down control, but I can't find a way of setting the visibility of a field in the Formula editor.

Any ideas?  Is this possible?

You can only set the visibility of a field based on another field. For a specific entry in a dropdown, make a hidden checkbox calculated to
(%MyVariable = "SelectedValue")

Then set the visibility of a field based on that checkbox. Make sure the dropdown is set to 'has dependents' and the checkbox to 'is dependent'.

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for this information.  I'm very new to Metastorm, so I've had a few problems with regards setting this up.  Any chance of a step-by-step guide?
