I am trying to do a sort order by last name on a grid. If a name is capitalized, it comes to the top of the grid, instead of staying in the sort order.  Is this a Metastorm glich?  Is there a way around this issue?

I have attached a screen shot of the issue.

Thanks in Advance!

What version of MBPM are you running?  And what do you have set in the "Sort" property of the grid?

Is the database SQL Server or Oracle?  Have you tried running the query directly in the database to see if the problem is the DB or MBPM?

I did check in the DB, it was a Metastorm issue.  It worked beautifully in Oracle.

The fix was to put Upper in front of the sort order field.  It is working properly now.

Thanks!

I'd hardly call it a 'Metastorm' issue. It is going to happen with any case sensitve database. e-work has no control over this.
