Now that Metastorm BPM version 9 has been released, we are going to have the usual issues with any new version. In previous new major versions, we are all left to find the various faults ourselves and report them separately. Often we have even been informed that nobody else has had problems, when they obviously have. Here you can check first.
We hope to solve the following issues: This does not replace the need to report the issues to Metastorm. It is important that each affected user does report the issue, otherwise Metastorm will not apply the same importance to it as is required based on the number of customers affected. Provide a list of discovered issues to avoid each of us being forced to find them out for ourselves Record which release fixes which fault. It can be tedious going through the release notes for each version to see when a fault is fixed. This should allow us to pick a new release to apply based on when an important fault is fixed. Help to identify, reproduce and resolve faults. This should make the resolution by Metastorm faster. Feel free to suggest other ways to manage this or to improve this. __________________ Post an example, and we will have a much better idea what the problem is. As a side note, my experience with metastorm is that they are willing to record and fix problems but it can sometimes be very hard to let them see the error.
So most of the times i write a simple script, "click this, click that, publish, now open that, press that button" etc because they do tend to have a problem reproducing problems. If you report a problem you get back an email and you can then send example files etc. __________________ Post an example, and we will have a much better idea what the problem is. PS that's for V6/7 for V9 the problem is V9 at the moment ;)
