Well, form a technical perspective, I cannot see much benefit from changing anything. They will almost certainly want to integrate with their present software. Their existing BPM engine seems to have a grand total of one (1) image of it on the web, and that from an obscure German blog. I suspect they will be replacing this, as even they do not promote it much. As for the sales side, however: If I bought a company that spends 100% of its license revenue on sales and marketing, I'd be looking to cull some of that cost.

Open Text's BPM Offering is called "Open Text BPM Server". Here's a link:

Open Text is based out of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Waterloo, and the surrounding area, is basically Canada's Silicone Valley. I wonder if the plan is to consolidate their BPM offering under one umbrella in Waterloo or setup another regional office in Baltimore????
