Has anyone used the Mstm.EncryptPassword() function yet?  Seen any problems?  It doesn't seem to be returning MD5 checksums as far as I can tell, and that's what I expected.  However, I can't find any documentation either, so it's hard to say :)

Can you say what I dies return? If you enter your password, it should return the same data as stored in the eUser.ePassword field. That is a good test.

So, some additional testing revealed startling information: I'm more than a few points below genius on the IQ scale.  In fact, sometimes I'm amazed I score at all.

When you indicate a text field is a password -- it doesn't just mask the field, it reports its value as an MD5 check sum.  I was running the value (already MD5) through Metastorm's MD5 password encryption function, so I wasn't getting the check sum I expected.

Are these things documented anywhere?  Oh well.  Sorry to bug you guys :)
