I installed the Process Orchestrator 7.6.3 on my Vista machine so I could use the Web Services Activator. This is a developer machine so all I have on it is the designer and the web services activator. (The Process Engine is not installed on this box. No IIS. just standalone designer)
Download and install the following from Microsoft before you install the Process Orchestrator: Install the Process Orchestrator and select the "Metastorm Web Services Activator" and the "Metastorm Complex Types Support" from the custom setup screen. Once the Orchestrator is installed, open file explorer and go to C:\Program Files\Metastorm BPM\Engine\dotnetbin. (or wherever you have it installed) Copy all of the DLLs that start with eWork.Engine.Activator and place those DLLs in this folder: C:\Program Files\Metastorm BPM\Designer\Dotnetbin (or wherever you have it installed) These files are required in order to publish the libraries. If you don't have these files, you will get validation errors when you try to publish the libraries. The library script may reference the ClassActivator that isn't being imported because the DLLs don't exist in the directory. Now it is time to start the web services activator. From the programs menu, right click on the "Metastorm Web Services Activator" and select "Run as administrator". You may get "path" or "permission" errors if you do not run as adminstrator. Anyway, I hope this helps somebody. (first post)
