hi Nappy,
I have tried first in VBScript. Then tried in javascript. Both have the same problem while raising the flag.
I have made that memo field visible and the values are in csv format itself.

Quote:
ework.RaiseFlag("FlagName", '0000000000000000000000000003903', raiseFolderId, mmoFolders, "scanner");

I have the values for the raising efolderids in my array. I need to pass the value as the second parameter in the raise flag function.
I am ble to send the efolderids to the as the third parameter. but exception while tring the same as the raising folder. :(

At last we got a solution for my problem

I have replaced

ework.RaiseFlag("FlagName", raiseFolderId, "scanner");

with

ework.RaiseFlag('FlagName', raiseFolderId, "scanner");

and now it is working fine.

Thank you all.. :)

Can a flag be raised from a client side java script?

So far I haven't been able to get it to work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have had a similar implementation but did not face any issue
I have used double quotes for the flagname. Altough I do not use opening and closing brackets in vb script, it would be more like
ework.RaiseFlag "FlagName", raiseFolderId, "scanner",ework.customvariable

and since you had a semicolon at the end I am assuming this example was from java script.
