Has anyone ever run into a problem where the server side buttons don't fire? I have a single server button that updates a row in the grid. I click the row in the grid. The record data is populated in the fields above the grid. I click on the button to update the record. Nothing happens. If another field is clicked then the button will work. It is the strangest thing.

Are there any client scripts run?

No client scripts running. Just determined that "has dependent" checkbox was checked on a memo field. The memo field was blocking the server side button from firing. Removed the checkbox and voila....
Go Figure?!?!?

I shall test that. I would not have expected a problem. Thanks for the update.

We were having this exact problem up until very recently and it appears that the latest service pack for 7.6 has resolved it. We deployed the pack and can no longer get this to occur.
