The forum crashed over the weekend and it looks like our hosts updated the forum software so things look a little different. Let us know if you find any problems

Seems okay - just a minor bit in that it doesn't recognise when I have read all the posts in a Folder. Still could be worse - they moved the door to our IT Office this weekend, I keep veering in the wrong direction. LJ.

It was a planned outage for upgrades. Like a fool, I forgot to let people know - sorry. Biggest problem I have is that the 'new posts' is not working, and the search was not working?

I've put in a ticket with our hosts. Not sure how responsive they are, we've not had any problems before. On a positive note, you should be able to create polls now

I'm not very keen on the new look - although it is hard to put my finger on exactly what has changed. My biggest grip would be the 'new posts' function not working and also it does seem much slower than previously. However, that little icon for FeedJit is great fun. (I'm just a nosy-parker at heart!)

New look looks like it's more "character based" and spacing seems to be "bigger" Slow here as well

PS that's for V6/7 for V9 the problem is V9 at the moment ;)

Gotta agree, although I added that (when noticing it on Doogal's Blog) before the change. Being nosey, for example, who is that from 'Klaksvík' then? e-work out in the far north Atlantic, eh?

The main change seems to be that there is no longer any 'banding' where each post is a different shade to the previous. That made it easier ito pick out the different posts IMO. Not sure if that can be changed, Doogal?

Unless this was changed independently, it appears the RSS feed is now http://metastorm.processmapping.com.au/tool/view/mb/external/ework and not http://forums.processmapping.com.au/tool/view/mb/external/ework

The banding was still there but so subtle you needed better than 20/20 vision to spot it. I've increased the difference a bit. The RSS feed has been that for a while, I guess we lost the other one in the 'upgrade' I think there are a couple of things causing the speed issues. When viewing a forum, there is now a preview of a post when you hover it. It doesn't look like that can be removed. The other thing is that Feedjit thing. It is good for us nosey parkers but does generate quite a lot of HTML

Just removed the Feedjit thing and things are much snappier so I'm afraid it'll have to go.

Very slow here as well. I get a message on the login screen that says:Error: The specified subdomain is not linked with this account. More Information... Please register for an account or login above. ... and clicking through has an explanation of how to set the subdomain as part of the forum in the admin settings. Could this be what's impacting response time?

The login page should behttp://metastorm.processmapping.com.au/tool/register/ework/login rather than http://forums.processmapping.com.au/tool/register/ework/login We seem to have lost the forums subdomain and there doesn't seem a way to get it back. I've removed the Digg gadget which seems to have speeded things up. Let me know if you still have problems
