I am pretty certain it was a mistake, but we snuck in - you can just see Wilana and myself in the background! (Wilana is obviously the good looking one)

We gave away a few there, and have sold 120 or so. I'm not retiring just yet, but it has nudged me toward writing the "Metastorm BPM Methodology". The most common question we get is "how do we do this?" We know, but we have not put the decision process into words.

The next step for a tool such as this is to define a methodology, preferably that is proven, as ours is. We think defining it and sharing it will enhance our reputation and draw in potential customers. I do do it for the joy (and to annoy Neil Berry, naturally), but money is always nice too.

Am I right, do you think?

I had to look up Neil Berry, first link on google was like "What's he got against baseball" before i found his linkedin ;)

I think a framework arround BPM is a good idea. I would be interested as most of the stuff i do is habits, habits and more habits that work but still habits. So learning your habits would be nice ;)

But in the end, as with all frameworks, it's people who know stuff who get stuff done. So i guess you are not in the risk of creating loads of little jeromes and lose all your work. And for the Nappy's it would be a welcome addition to our toolset :D

It's not exactly a methodology, is it?

We don't - you try getting a manager to use those tools - they just won't.

We have Visio diagrams off the top of people's heads and work from there with a review group.

Then its straight into creating things - all works around the Developers :-D

Our latest one is Housing Voids - this will be a major one - I created an overview diagram and we are just integrating Choice Based Letting into it.

It would be so nice to work for someone with a simple straight line supply chain, but it would be much less work.

LJ.

Well i guess even if you start looking at the ice cream vendor on the corner (how hard can that be) you will soon find there is some special winter ice deduction supply expantion rule that is very hard to code into any system.

If it were that simple we would not be having so much fun in this forum ;)
