Hi,

Found an other little bug.

Open new procedure
add a text field to form1
start wizard on calculation formula
Select read metastorm text (or any other option that uses database information)
Make an error typing in your connection password
Type the correct password
Select a table
After that the dropdown for fields is empty!
If you don't make the typo in the password all works as expected

Running designer 7.6 build 1007 = latest

Will send this to Metastorm and let you know

I get exactly the same.

I did not the first time since I was using windows authentication where any password will work. If I'd stopped there, I don't think that would be classed as trying very hard to investigate the issue. All I had to do was set up another DSN with SQL Server authentication.

I would hate to think support did not try, so perhaps they did not understand that you were not using windows authentication based on teh fact that you actually enter a password?

They just requested screenshots because they have WA set on.

I'll pass them on your trick so they can replicate

The problem that you reported to our Help Desk, Dropdown is empty when error typing in connection password, has been logged into our product feedback system as PF34494 and is scheduled to be resolved in a future release. You can always contact the Help Desk and check on the status by referring to SR-08112008-0003 or PF34494.

Thanks Jerome for the tip as i now did not have to send screenshots and they were actually able to reproduce the error.

I guess we split the honours on PF34494 ;)
